PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSISTANT

We are looking to add a Property Management Assistant to our team. Reporting to the Director of Property Management & Administration, this person will provide administrative support to help manage Company rental properties.

You will:

  • Research rental rate and calculate overhead costs, depreciation, taxes, and profit goals.
  • Assist with finding tenants
  • Assist with tenancy agreement and negotiating leases
  • Collect security deposits and rent
  • Assist with bill payments
  • Assist with property maintenance and resolve tenant complaints
  • Assist with general office administration

You have:

  • Minimum one year experience within real estate or a related industry
  • Valid BC Driver’s License
  • Intermediate computer skills with good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate with both internal and external clients effectively
  • Great listening skills and willing to assist others as necessary

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

We are looking to add a Development Manager to our team in Vancouver. Reporting to the VP Development & Construction, you can expect to lead and participate in a wide variety of projects and initiatives, from mid-size urban to large-scale redevelopment of mixed-use residential and commercial assets. Projects range from down town Vancouver to throughout the lower mainland. With a strong capital base and long-term project pipeline, this position presents a real growth opportunity for the right person.

You will:

  • Be responsible for projects from early stage acquisition, through design and approvals in conjunction with the Development team.
  • Manage and coordinate consultants and project teams to ensure the project is delivered as planned
  • Assist in community engagement, municipal negotiations and approvals
  • Assist in acquisitions and pre-development reviews
  • Liaise with external Development Managers
  • Review drawings to ensure accuracy
  • Work with The Sales & Marketing and The Finance Departments

You have:

  • Minimum of five years of applicable work experience within the real estate development industry. Ideally from a residential/mixed use background.
  • Experience from associated development roles such as planning; architecture; project management; engineering.
  • Experience with municipal by-laws and protocols is an asset.
  • Strong time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong command of the English Language, verbal and written communication skills.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and a in depth understanding of the Real Estate development business.
